Following his Splendour In The Grass debut British musician, songwriter and producer Elderbrook will make his Sydney headline debut with a free show via RSVP at Oxford Art Factory on Friday 27th July.

The Ivor Novello and Grammy Award-nominated Elderbrook made a flying start to a new stage in his career with his Parlophonedebut track ‘Sleepwalking’. Already past a million streams at Spotify, it received airplay at triple j and Nova as well as Radio 1 from Annie Mac, Mistajam, Dev & Alice, Greg James, Pete Tong and Toddla T, plus further support at 1Xtra, 6 Music and Kiss Fresh. Now Elderbrook extends the track’s momentum with a high profile remix courtesy of Hot Creations, Paradise and Hot Natured figurehead Jamie Jones.

Last year, Elderbrook joined forces with production duo CamelPhat to release “a cool little club record” called Cola. Fate, however, had different plans when Colawas catapulted from the underground and into charts all over the world. It emerged as a surprise nomination for the 2018 Grammy Award for Best Dance Recording, and its success has recently seen Elderbrook and CamelPhat earn an Ivor Novello nomination for Best Contemporary Song. ‘Cola’ is ARIA Platinum ‘Cola’ and came in at #42 on triple j’s Hottest 100and Elderbrook released his second EP ‘Talking’ last year as Cola was breaking big.

Elderbrook has been selling out headline shows all over the world. In the last year alone, he sold-out XOYO and the Oval Space in London while his growing international acclaim resulted in sold-out shows at The Roxy and L.A. and Baby’s All Right in NYC. Having completed tours with Bonobo and Rüfüs Du Sol, he’s set to return to the States with festivals including Life is Beautiful andBumbershoot as well as his biggest American headline shows to date in September.

Sydneysiders are in for a treat as Elderbrook will play his only live Sydney headline show after supporting The Wombats the week previous.  As a special free via RSVP show this will be a show talked about for years to come as Elderbrook’s star begins to soar.
