Touch Sensitive’s first Sydney show sold out in record time just days after it’s announce. Don’t miss out on catching him perform his highly anticipated debut album with full band this summer.
Following the release of his highly anticipated and widely acclaimed debut album Visions, Touch Sensitive is thrilled to announce a national headline tour this summer in celebration of its release.
Kicking off at Brisbane’s TBC Club on December 8, Touch Sensitive will traverse across the country with 12 massive shows throughout all major cities. The tour will include festival appearances at Fiji’s Your Paradise, Byron’s Sunday Safari and wrapping at Gosford’s Mountain Sounds. Audiences who attend Sydney’s Oxford Art Factory shows will be treated to a full live band putting on an unforgettable performance.
This year, Touch Sensitive exploded back into our hearts with #1 single “Lay Down”. After heading to the States for a “Lay Down” single tour and to join label mates Flight Facilities and Flume on each of their American tours, Touch Sensitive returned home, dropped “No Other High”, “Lose It All” & his debut album Visions. The infectious 10 tracker has been years in the making and received stunning reviews from Rolling Stone, Herald Sun, The Age and The Music, while highlighted single “Lose It All” kicked release week off with a triple j premiere.
Touch Sensitive, otherwise known as Michael Di Francesco has spent the last four years perfecting his debut album; crafting, collecting and absorbing inspiration, while still maintaining a proverbial approach to its production. Recorded between Sydney, LA and New York, Visions features an array of talent including LA-based producer Harriet Brown on “Comfortable”, Brisbane-vocalist Tori Zietschon “Two Walls” and New York artist WILLS on closing track “Putting On Airs”, with Francesco leading a heavy rhythm section throughout.
After wrapping up a run of performances for Listen Out festivals across the country & debuting his live band for the first time, audiences got a taste of what to expect from his own shows. Don’t miss the chance to see Sydney’s most loved producer in a live setting this summer and witness one of 2017’s most outstanding releases be brought to life.Â
