Carrey Lander (1982-2015) was a member of Scottish indie-pop band Camera Obscura. Sadly she passed away in 2015 after losing her battle with cancer.

John Berg (1932-2015) was a grammy award winning art director, revered for his work composing cover art for artists including Barbera Streisand, The Byrds and Simon and Garfunkel.

Christopher Russell EdwardChrisSquire (4 March 1948 – 27 June 2015) was an English musician and singer-songwriter. He was best known as the bassist and founding member of the progressive rock band Yes. He was the only member to appear on each of their 21 studio albums, released from 1969 to 2014.

Lester Errol Brown (11 December 1943 – 6 May 2015) was a British-Jamaican singer and songwriter, best known as the frontman of the soul and funk band Hot Chocolate.

Riley B. King (September 16, 1925 – May 14, 2015), known by his stage name B.B. King, was an American Hall of Fame blues singer, songwriter and guitarist.

Rolling Stone ranked King number 6 on its 2011 list of the 100 greatest guitarists of all time (previously ranked number 3 in the 2003 edition of the same list). He was ranked No. 17 in Gibson’s “Top 50 Guitarists of All Time”. According to Edward M. Komara, King “introduced a sophisticated style of soloing based on fluid string bending and shimmering vibrato that would influence virtually every electric blues guitarist that followed.”

John Dixon (20 February 1929 – 7 May 2015) was an Australian comic book artist and writer, best known for his comic strip creation, Air Hawk and the Flying Doctors (which ran from 1959 until 1986).

Guy Carawan (July 27, 1927 – May 2, 2015) was an American folk musician and musicologist. He served as music director and song leader for the Highlander Research and Education Center in New Market, Tennessee.

Jack Brown Ely (September 11, 1943 – April 28, 2015) was an American guitarist and singer, best known for singing the Kingsmen’s version of “Louie Louie”.

 Percy Sledge (November 25, 1941 – April 14, 2015) was an African American R&B, soul, gospel, and traditional pop singer. He is best known for the song “When a Man Loves a Woman”,

Dennis Michael Marks (2 July 1948 – 2 April 2015) was head of music at BBC Television in the 1980s and from 1993 to 1997 was general director of English National Opera. He was also a maker of television documentaries, broadcaster and author.

Doug Sax (April 26, 1936 – April 2, 2015) was an American mastering engineerfrom Los Angeles, California. He mastered three of The Doors’ albums, including their 1967 debut; six of Pink Floyd’s albums, including The Wall; Ray Charles’ multiple-Grammy winner Genius Loves Company in 2004, and Bob Dylan’s 36th studio album Shadows in the Night in 2015.

Robert Lewis “Bob” Burns Jr. (November 24, 1950 – April 3, 2015) was an American drummer who was in the original line-up of the Southern rock band Lynyrd Skynyrd.

Lisa Simon (April 4, 1951 — April 4, 2015) was an American television producer and director who directed Sesame Street and Bear in the Big Blue House. She also worked as production assistant on Law and Order:SVU and Flight of the Concords.
